I’m currently recruiting for a Technical Lead Software Development role with a global insurance organisation, working through a leading consultancy on a large-scale digital transformation programme.

This is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, and modern engineering practices within a highly scalable enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications across backend and frontend technologies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Drive best practices across software engineering, architecture, and delivery
• Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS serverless technologies
• Work closely with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams across the programme
• Contribute to solution design, technical strategy, and platform improvements
• Support Agile delivery and ensure high-quality engineering standards are maintained

Experience:

• Strong experience in Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineering roles
• Excellent full-stack development experience
• Strong Java backend development expertise
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies
• Strong Node.js development experience
• Frontend development experience with Angular
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Consultancy or insurance sector experience would be beneficial
